I've seen some nice walk in showers before, but this one was the biggest and most luxurious ever. The room was large, super clean and everything was in perfect working condition. I've done my share of traveling and this is probably the nicest room I've ever stayed in. I don't consider myself a big gambler, but the Hard Rock was gracious enough to comp me for a room in their brand new East Tower and all I can say is WOW. They do have a COVID enforcement team but it appears they only ask you to put your mask on properly if you are not seated at a machine or card table. They should remove the empty seat to promote social distancing. They did have every other machine shut off for social distancing which only works if you do not have a crowd with you who then wants to sit in the empty seat.
However, you walk up to the second floor non smoking floor and it was like a dream. This casino has two floors and as soon as you walked into the first floor the place reeked I’d smoke. Unfortunately, they allowed smoking and drinking on the casino floor which kind of defeats the purpose of the mask. They did have the same infrared temperature scanners as you walked in which was very welcome and they did provide masks to those that did not have any. I visited this casino thinking that the same precautions that are being taken at the Atlantic City Hard Rock were being done here.
